An evening of world premieres of flute pieces by Harvard composers, followed by Julius Eastman’s radiant “Gay Guerrilla” that was written for any arrangement of instruments. It has previously been played by four pianos, chamber ensemble, and orchestra. In this special performance, Claire Chase’s performance class, which consists of guitar, voices, violins, trombone, trumpet, will be joined by the Berklee Interdisciplinary Institute, which adds synths, two pianos, saxophone, and guitar.
